Technical Project
AXA Insurance is the third largest general insurer in the UK. They operate in
more than 50 countries and serve more than 50 million customers worldwide.
Combined Energy Solutions have been in partnership with AXA Insurance providing
cost effective Technical Project services to ensure a safe and comfortable
working environment is maintained.
Technical Project Contract:
CES project managed the replacement of a large Water Chiller system on AXA
Insurance's six storey office block in the heart of Manchester.
The Project consisted of re-designing the pipe work and installing the Chiller
onto the flat roof of the building, extending all Mechanical and Electrical
services onto the roof.
Control and Management Operations:
In order to safely complete the project, CES had to arrange with the Local
Authority a road closure and traffic scheme for the morning in order to crane
lift the cooling system onto the roof. This project lasted approximately four
weeks.
Forthcoming Projects:
CES have received an order to remove an existing Water Chiller system at AXA
Insurance's South Gate London office. The project will involve all Mechanical
and Electrical services from the base plant room to the compound in the car
park area. Provisional project duration is expected to take approximately six
weeks.
